Our ultra slimline reading glasses are an ideal way of overcoming the age-related problem of presbyopia. Presbyopia is a visual defect that is part of the normal aging process. The lens progressively loses its capacity to increase its power for near vision. The distance vision may be unaffected, but the near vision becomes blurred increasingly with age greater than about 40 years. This is corrected by wearing reading glasses (plus dioptre power) for the close work.
