High power hand-held and Ruper magnifiers are used for the close inspection of items such as circuits boards, hallmarks, postage stamps, watermarks and precious stones. The design is very compact and robust. The lens is protected by rotating into a metal cover when not in use. These devices are used by coin and stamp collectors, antique dealers, geologists and botanists. These hand-held magnifying glasses also have applications in the home, for viewing books and newspapers, for map reading whilst travelling and around the office, school, factory and laboratory.
